During her tenure with the team, Elise has covered the 2017 Winter Classic at Busch Stadium, 2019 NHL Awards, 2020 NHL All-Star Weekend in St. Louis, and, of course, the franchise's first Stanley Cup championship in 2019.
Prior to joining the Blues, Elise spent two seasons with the Chicago Wolves (AHL). She graduated from Northwestern University (Go 'Cats!) in 2013 with a degree in Journalism and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications.
MY WORK
BARCLAY BREAKS THE INTERNET
Barclay joined the Blues in December 2018 as a service-dog-in-training and quickly became an internet sensation. His verified Instagram account has grown to 75,000+ followers and he has been featured on CBS News, Fox News, CNN, ESPN, SportsCenter, People Magazine, TMZ, and more. Through his account we have been able to raise awareness and money for the non-profit Duo Dogs, integrate corporate partners such as Purina and PetSmart, and bring smiles to millions of dog lovers worldwide!
RYAN O'REILLY'S DAY WITH THE STANLEY CUP
A team videographer and I traveled to small-town Ontario, Canada, in July 2019 to cover Ryan O'Reilly's day with the Stanley Cup. The festivities included three towns, two parades, an emotional reunion with 99-year-old Granny O'Reilly, and a celebration worth of an MVP. Our coverage included live social, along with documenting the day via photo and video and on stlouisblues.com.
#ROARBACON
In November 2015, #RoarBacon was born. It was the perfect storm as a rivalry game, an autocorrected caption, and a huge comeback win rallied a fan base to embrace a meme that endures to this day. Instead of just correcting the caption and moving on, were able to parlay the hashtag's popularity into significant fan and social media engagement, media coverage, and custom merchandise.
